Quality Assurance Field Technician - Charlotte

Bitcoin Depot is hiring a Quality Assurance Field Technician within the Charlotte, North Carolina region. This role involves conducting routine inspections, installations, and repairs at existing BTM locations to ensure they are operational and ready for transactions.

We are the largest Bitcoin ATM Network globally, enabling users to buy and sell Bitcoin across numerous BTM and BDCheckout sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the home market up to 75% of the time for BTM inspections, installations, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols.
• Conduct regular product inspections to uphold BTM standards.
• Commission and prep BTMs for deployment.
• Physically install BTMs at approved sites.
• Manage site-related signage and marketing materials.
• Carry out ongoing BTM maintenance following company guidelines.
• Train customers and vendors in person and remotely.
• Gather merchant and internal data accurately on-site.
• Develop training materials and operational manuals.
• Document quality assurance efforts and deliver reports internally.
• Alert the Tech Support Manager of issue resolutions.
• Collaborate with team members and tackle assigned tasks.

Qualifications/Experience

• Charlotte residence is a must.
• Three years of prior experience in the ATM or BTM sector.
• Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external rapport.
• Proficient problem-solving and adherence to protocols.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks swiftly in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Capability of bending, climbing, lifting, driving, and more.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and operate a dolly for equipment transport.
