About the Opportunity
Join our software engineering team tasked with developing trading systems for options market making. This role focuses on agile software development to enhance our trading systems and peripheral services supporting market making.
What You’ll Be Doing
Enhancing and maintaining Java-based trading systems to facilitate market making on the exchange
Specialized in low latency and zero GC computing
Responsible for designing and maintaining derivative pricing and risk control systems, as well as automated trading systems
Collaborating with Product and Exchange teams for system upgrades and expansion
Building expertise in financial knowledge and quantitative skills as applicable to both traditional and crypto trading industries
What We Look For In You
Proficiency in Microservice/API development using Java/SpringBoot
Knowledge of multi-threading and low latency APIs
Familiarity with common middlewares
Experience with relational/nosql databases
Comfort working in a cloud-based Linux shell environment
Strong commitment to delivering high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly products
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with low-level programming such as socket programming
Experience with other languages like Python, JavaScript, C++, or Rust
Understanding of service/library API designs
Background in banking sectors, particularly front office roles
Knowledge or experience in quantitative finance methodologies

We’re looking for a technical cofounder — someone with the skill to build and the vision to lead.
What You’ll Own:
• Lead the mobile app development (Android-first; iOS optional for now)
