We are looking for an entrepreneurial and customer-focused Region Director of Account Management to lead and expand our VIP Account Management function in the UK & Europe region. The role involves managing a team of Account Managers dedicated to providing top-notch service to Main App's most valuable customers. The main objective is to establish strong client relationships to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a growth mindset, proficiency in client relationship management, and adeptness in working with diverse multicultural teams and client bases.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead the recruitment, development, and growth of a proficient team of Account Managers catering to high-value Main App customers.
- Implement best practices, processes, and KPIs to ensure excellent account management and client service.
- Provide guidance and support to Account Managers to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to foster client relationships effectively.
Client Management & Business Growth
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue per customer, retention, trading activity, and assets under management within the region.
- Ensure top-tier clients receive personalized support and proactive engagement to deliver white-glove service.
- Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities among high-value traders.
- Establish referral networks to expand business through existing client relationships.
Regional Strategy & Market Execution
- Act as the primary regional representative to align business strategies with market trends and customer needs.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Product, Legal/Compliance, Payments/Fraud, Operations) to advocate for customer requirements and market-driven enhancements.
Data-Driven Performance Management
- Monitor and optimize trading volume, frequency, AUM, and various client engagement metrics.
- Analyze account performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Take ownership of regional business performance by setting and achieving ambitious KPIs.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in account management, sales, or relationship management, preferably in crypto, sports betting/iGaming, trading, fintech, or financial services.
- Proven track record in building and leading high-performance teams, with expertise in hiring, coaching, and talent development.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills, particularly in managing high-net-worth clients.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on leveraging data for strategic decision-making and performance enhancement.
- Knowledge of multicultural dynamics and regional expertise, including language proficiency and cultural awareness based on the assigned territory.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, action bias, and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
- Understanding of crypto trading, market dynamics, and retail trading behaviors is a plus, but not mandatory.
