Research Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide array of data-related tasks, including engineering, creating advanced visualizations, developing machine learning models, and conducting experiments.
• Generate high-quality data insights reports covering macro and sector trends like DeFi, NFT, Gaming, Metaverse, L1/L2, and Middleware for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze and understand large volumes of on-chain transactional and operational data using various data tools and platforms.
• Handle and process sensitive data according to established guidelines.
• Manage and enhance the reporting environment, ensuring data sources, security, and metadata are appropriately maintained.
• Address any issues within the reporting database environment and reports effectively.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a strong interest in Web3 data, possessing knowledge of different cryptocurrency sectors and familiarity with key players in each sector.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Hold at least 3 years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Proficient in data engineering, modeling, and ETL processes; preference for experience in data sourcing and API utilization.
• Skilled in data querying using languages like SQL, GraphQL, and Python.
• Familiarity with tools such as Dune analytics, Flipside, and Nansen.
• Understanding of project smart contracts and comprehensive knowledge of the Web3 infrastructure landscape.
• Knowledge of addressing and metadata standards across multiple public chains.
