Risk Product Manager, Futures

Responsibilities:
- Create and enhance risk strategies for the Futures business to ensure market stability and user security.
- Innovate and enhance product features related to risk management (e.g., liquidation, margin system, leverage tiers, risk limits).
- Collaborate closely with Quant, Engineering, Risk, and Futures Trading teams to address risk exposure and devise solutions.
- Maintain risk dashboards, alert systems, and analytical tools to aid in decision-making processes.
- Keep track of market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging risks in the cryptocurrency derivatives sector.
- Lead the investigation of risk events and propose preventive measures for the long term.
- Assist in the launch of new products by conducting risk assessments, modeling scenarios, and ensuring preparedness.
- Draft risk proposals, product documentation, and updates for senior management.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Possess 3–7 years of experience in risk management, derivatives, or product management; experience in crypto or traditional futures is desirable.
- Solid comprehension of futures mechanics such as leverage, margin, liquidation, index pricing, funding, and market microstructure.
- Strong analytical skills with a comfort in working with data to identify risks and support product decisions.
- Prior experience collaborating with quantitative or engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and inter-departmental coordination abilities.
- Exhibit a sense of ownership, structured thinking, and adeptness in fast-paced environments.
- Previous involvement in a crypto exchange or trading firm is a bonus, with a necessary passion for crypto.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required for engaging with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
