Focus on the gambling sector (high-risk vertical)
Who are we looking for:
- Fluent English (day-to-day communication with partners, both verbal and written)
- Experience in payments and sales is not a requirement - we are ready to teach everything, but it is a plus
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Autonomy and proactivity
The key responsibilities for this role include:
1) Identifying and acquiring new clients
- Lead generation: proactively seeking out potential gambling merchants who need payment solutions, including research on specific target markets (iGaming operators, online casinos, sports betting platforms) to build a pipeline of qualified leads, as well as leveraging networking, partnerships, and digital tools.
- Competitor analysis & market trends: keeping up-to-date with the gambling market and competitors’ offerings.
- Pitching the solutions: preparing tailored presentations and proposals that directly address the pain points of operators.
2) Managing existing relationships
- Daily customer communication: maintaining close, consistent communication with clients.
- Client Retention & Upselling/Cross-selling: identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or cross-selling new payment methods.
- Building strong long-term relationships: foster trust and build strategic partnerships.
3) Performing onboarding of new clients: handling all the aspects from the initial communication to integration, as well as retention of the accounts while in live (monitoring their satisfaction, usage of the platform, and handling any issues that could arise post-launch).
4) Work across departments to facilitate the proper business processes
- Cross-department collaboration - work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and provide market feedback.
5) Attending industry events (networking and representation)
- Attending key gambling and payment industry events to meet new prospects, build partnerships, and increasing your presence within the sector.
This role combines active client acquisition with relationship management, all while acting as the key point of contact for both new and existing merchants. The Sales Manager needs to be a versatile communicator, comfortable with the technical aspects of onboarding, and well-versed in the industry’s regulatory landscape.
We are ready to consider a person without experience in sales, but necessarily with fluent English (spoken and written), ready to travel around the world, with very developed communication skills, charisma, and emotional intelligence.
