Sales Operations Manager
Anchorage Digital is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to optimize and manage sales processes, data systems, and compensation structures to enhance sales performance. This role will involve overseeing Sales Operations to ensure seamless integration between sales tools and business operations. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience working with CRMs, strong analytical skills, and the ability to design and optimize sales compensation programs. Reporting to the Head of Revenue, the selected candidate will be responsible for aligning sales operations, systems, and processes in support of the sales team and overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Technical Skills:
- Utilize Salesforce and other internal tools to extract sales data and provide insights to the Head of Revenue.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and other critical metrics.
- Identify and implement tools that streamline sales operations, such as sales enablement platforms and forecasting tools.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to generate actionable insights for the sales leadership team.
- Manage initiatives that effectively scale sales operations alongside company growth, ensuring systems and processes remain efficient and adaptable.
- Continuously evaluate sales processes for efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Collaborate to align sales strategies with company objectives to achieve revenue targets.
- Ensure proper alignment of sales resources (personnel, tools, data) with company goals to maximize sales productivity.
Communication and Influence:
- Effectively communicate complex data, insights, and strategies to executives and senior leadership to influence business decisions.
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams, particularly with Finance and HR on compensation policies and sales performance.
- Lead communication of process or system changes within the sales team, facilitating smooth transitions and team acceptance.
- Regularly liaise with Sales leadership to equip the sales team with necessary tools, resources, and processes to excel, translating strategy into tangible action plans.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or a related field, with a focus on Salesforce and data analytics.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing sales compensation plans, calculating commissions, and managing payouts.
- Proficiency in leveraging CRMs and internal tools for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting sales performance.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading a Sales Operations team.
