Sanctions & CTF Investigator

Binance, a prominent global blockchain ecosystem and the largest cryptocurrency exchange provider with millions of users worldwide, is seeking experienced Sanctions Investigators to join their expanding team in Sanctions.

Responsibilities

• Incidents and Issues Investigations Governance: Coordinate with various teams to pinpoint the root cause of incidents and issues, ensuring accountability and action plan follow-through.
• Process Improvement and Transformation: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement, prioritize important issues, and propose creative solutions.
• Process Oversight and Change Control Management: Manage operational processes affecting Sanctions Compliance, ensuring adherence to guidelines, and suggest necessary updates to alignment.
• Compliance Risk Rule Testing/Tuning and System UAT Testing: Validate compliance risk rules conformity to policies, conduct necessary testing and tuning, and perform User Acceptance Testing for system upgrades.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Crypto-related Investigations/Sanctions/Monitoring.
• Proficiency in utilizing crypto tools like Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Computer Science.
• Adept problem-solver with extensive compliance function expertise.
• Ability to excel in an unstructured environment, manage multiple tasks effectively, and offer clarity and organization.
• Self-driven individual with a passion for efficiency enhancement and value creation through tool development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on providing value-added services.
• Skilled in asking pertinent questions and exercising sound business judgment while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
