SAR Analyst - India

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage designated Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) cases ensuring compliance with set Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including guiding stakeholders on necessary actions.
• Track SAR escalation log, ensuring timely resolution of all escalations within the team.
• Oversee client off-boarding process as necessary and maintain relevant records.
• Escalate cases requiring further guidance to team leader and MLROs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance SAR quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Proficient in compliance applications like Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, among others.
• Strong grasp of local laws, regulations, and evolving virtual currency policies.
• Engage in AML/CFT programs both internally and externally as part of regular duties.
• Handle general administrative tasks related to the above functions as per the company's needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal, or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of investigation experience including SAR filings, regulatory/audit experience at a financial entity or fintech.
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach towards maintaining high standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, analytical, and investigative skills.
