The Security Engineer role entails designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to safeguard company data and infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing access controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, responding to security incidents, and ensuring secure system design and deployment. Keeping abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, as well as producing regular security status updates, is essential.
Key requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Engineer, expertise in security protocols and best practices, familiarity with security information and event management systems, and proficiency in cloud technologies (preferably GCP). Additionally, knowledge of Cloud WAF solutions, problem-solving abilities under pressure, effective communication, and up-to-date understanding of security trends are prerequisites. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is required.
Desirable qualifications include experience with Splunk.
The remote position is located in Ukraine.
