Security Engineer - Cloudflare Specialist

The Cybersecurity and Data Privacy team functions under the leadership of the Chief Information Security Officer, Jason Lau, ensuring a secure environment with a collective expertise in specialties like Blockchain Security, Operational Security, and Security Governance. Embracing a growth-oriented mindset, the team upholds a Security and Data Privacy Compliance strategy fundamental to the company. They have played a pivotal role in attaining various certifications, positioning the company as a pioneer in cybersecurity standards globally.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and refining security operations across Cloudflare and diverse platforms.
• Defining security protocols particularly tailored for cloud-based firewalls, predominantly focused on Cloudflare.
• Troubleshooting configurations, log analysis, and pattern recognition to preempt and combat security threats effectively.
• Managing the company's attack surface, including DNS, and identifying vulnerable hosts/IPs.
• Supporting application-level security monitoring and assisting in intrusion detection and incident response efforts.
• Plus, familiarizing with Infrastructure as Code tools/platforms like Terraform is an added advantage.

Requirements

• Essential expertise of 3+ years in Cloudflare management is pivotal, with preference for former Cloudflare employees.
• A solid technical foundation, encompassing web API security comprehension and API management practice.
• Advantages include holding certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM, albeit not mandatory.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must, with fluency in Mandarin as a valuable asset.
