The Security Site Lead plays a critical role in overseeing the security operations at a specific location, ensuring the safety of the premises, employees, and visitors under their charge. Reporting directly to the Security Field Supervisor, this position entails supervising a security team, managing personnel assignments, and ensuring the functionality of security equipment. The Site Lead is accountable for incident resolution and the implementation of preventative security measures to mitigate theft and ensure order within the organization.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Supervision:
Supervise security officers on-site, ensuring compliance with policies and performance standards.
Provide clear guidance to security personnel for enhancing team cohesion and motivation.
Conduct regular briefings to communicate expectations and provide feedback.
Oversee efficient and effective security operations while maintaining high safety standards.
Support in training and onboarding new security officers, ensuring adherence to site-specific protocols.
Monitor and ensure the functionality of Security Camera Systems and equipment.
Review Daily Activity Reports and address any violations promptly.
Access Control:
Monitor and control access to facilities, verifying authorization of individuals.
Conduct thorough identification checks at entry points.
Ensure compliance with the visitor management system.
Surveillance:
Utilize surveillance tools to monitor activities on-premises and report suspicious behavior promptly.
Patrol and Inspection:
Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter security threats.
Perform inspections to mitigate potential risks effectively.
Emergency Response:
Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly.
Collaborate with emergency services and follow established protocols.
Customer Service:
Provide professional assistance and guidance to stakeholders.
Respond to inquiries and provide directions as needed.
Report Writing:
Maintain accurate security logs and complete incident reports.
Review and ensure thorough documentation in incident reports.
Collaboration:
Cooperate with security personnel and relevant departments for an effective security program.
Communicate efficiently with team members and management regarding security issues.
Qualifications
- 2 years of Security, Law enforcement, or military experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a security-related role.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer skills for reporting purposes.
- Physical fitness to perform security duties for extended periods.
Additional Requirements
- Valid State Security Guard License (if applicable).
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Honorable discharge from military service is advantageous.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Flexibility to work varying hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Successful completion of a Nationwide Background Check.
