Your Responsibilities:
Circle is in search of a seasoned Senior Analyst to strengthen and advance the internal audit function within the organization. This role will contribute to strategic planning, project management, and execution of impartial assessments of financial, operational, risk management, and compliance controls through dedicated audits. You will liaise with first and second-line risk management functions to continually assess and understand the risk landscape. To excel in this role, thorough knowledge of financial services regulations and SOX compliance is essential.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist in developing, implementing, and enhancing processes within internal audit frameworks and assurance programs.
- Conduct risk-based assurance activities focusing on compliance and operational audits to mitigate risk and optimize performance.
- Prepare for and conduct client interviews, examine documentation, analyze process efficiency, design strategies for fieldwork testing, interpret results, identify control weaknesses and recommend value-adding solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to present audit findings, address control weaknesses, and collaborate on action plans for risk reduction.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships, review internal control processes, and provide insights for process improvements.
- Support the implementation of controls, spearhead audit projects, and exhibit technical prowess in analyzing operational processes and proposing solutions.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of auditing experience, preferably a mix of public accounting and internal audit roles, with exposure to financial services, payments, or technology sectors.
- Proficient in audit principles, practices, SOX requirements, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency is beneficial.
- Ability to craft solutions based on complex information synthesis, work autonomously, manage varied workloads effectively, and prioritize tasks with minimal oversight.
- High integrity, ability to handle confidential data, aptitude for cross-functional collaboration, and adaptability to change.
- CIA or equivalent certification a plus, familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.

Base Pay Range: $102,500 - $137,500
Annual Bonus Target: 12.5% including Equity & Benefits
