About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our dynamic team to manage day-to-day financial operations and reporting for our diverse portfolio of entities, including quarterly and month-end closing activities. This role offers a blend of traditional accounting tasks with exposure to Web3 accounting, digital assets, and cryptocurrency reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits, collate testing samples, and create accounting memos
- Oversee full-set bookkeeping for up to 20 standalone entities across diverse jurisdictions
- Manage daily accounting functions, including monthly subsidiary funding and cost recharges
- Ensure accurate preparation of invoices and update them in the accounting system
- Validate invoices and agreements for supporting documents and proper authorization
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate ledger entries
- Manage Accounts Payable settled in cryptocurrency and ensure proper recording and reconciliation of crypto payments
- Handle ad hoc tasks like accounting standard interpretation and establishing accounting policies and procedures
- Identify process improvement opportunities and provide guidance to junior team members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a combination of Big 4 audit and commercial accounting
- QP candidate/CPA certification is advantageous
- Proficient in modern ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or Expensify
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
