Description
Binance, a global blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, is seeking an experienced QA Engineer (mid to senior level) to focus on Integration Testing for their high-performance backend software stack.
The role involves overseeing the entire testing life cycle, including test design, script development, execution confirmation, integration into the framework, and continuous enhancement for better automation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to develop, test, and deliver high-quality software products
- Design test scenarios and develop Python scripts for integration testing
- Prepare integration tests for new features, integrate them into CI processes, and ensure QA approval for production release
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and communicate effectively with other teams
- Identify deficiencies in existing tests and implement enhancements in the integration framework for improved automation and reporting
- A developer background would be advantageous
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of backend QA engineering experience
- Proficiency in full-cycle testing, including test design, script development, and execution
- Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems
- Proficient in scripting with Python and Bash
- Experience in testing backend services like APIs, databases, and distributed services
- Thrives on problem-solving and is proficient in finding root causes
- Must be fluent in English to coordinate with international partners and stakeholders; additional languages are a plus
