Description
BitGo, a top digital asset solutions provider with a global reach, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Engineering Team in India. This role involves collaborating with skilled engineers, product managers, and security experts to develop new features and applications for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build sturdy APIs, libraries, and services to support various wallet services and functionalities
- Manage feature development from inception through deployment and integration with clients
- Document functionalities for internal and external use, including third-party developers and UI teams
- Work closely with other engineering teams to maintain consistency in technical requirements and overall work quality
- Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews and guidance on best practices
Skills & Experience:
Preferred teammates must embody BitGo's values, such as open communication, ownership, and craftsmanship.
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years in back-end, server-side software development
- Proficiency in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- Expertise in Node.JS, JavaScript, Java, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Strong background in RESTful API design and development
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Git/GitHub, branching strategies, code review tools, CI tools, and project management tools
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field from a reputable university
Preferred:
- Knowledge of decentralized finance or the centralized financial sector
- Interest and experience in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Golang, and TypeScript
