Senior Backend Engineer (Java) - Risk

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance backend services for real-time fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and risk analysis.
• Establish and manage scalable microservices supporting risk assessment models and detection systems.
• Integrate machine learning models and risk scoring engines into backend systems.
• Implement real-time anomaly detection and alerts for suspicious activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape security policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Optimize system performance, latency, and cost-efficiency continually.

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience in backend development, ideally in fintech, crypto, or high-traffic environments.
• Proficient in Java (Spring Boot) and relevant frameworks like multithreading and networking.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, Spring microservices, and Dubbo.
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, Redis, Hive, Starrocks).
• Familiarity with Graph databases such as Nebula or Neptune.
• Knowledge of message queues and streaming technologies, including Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Ability to handle high-concurrency and low-latency applications with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Alicloud.
• Preferred experience in big data and machine learning, with a plus in risk management or anti-fraud systems.
• Excellent analytical and teamwork skills with a fast-learning and adaptive mindset.
