About the Role
CKBA is seeking an Operations Director to oversee organizational operations, coordinate functional teams, and drive the effective execution of organizational priorities.
The Operations Director works closely with the Board, functional leads, and the Chief of Staff to strengthen organizational alignment, operational effectiveness, and accountability.
The role has decision-making authority within approved budgets and policies, while major strategic and governance decisions remain with the Board and General Assembly.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Coordination & Execution
Coordinate across Engineering, Research, Ecosystem, Communications, DevRel, and other functional teams.
Translate Board-approved priorities into actionable plans with clear ownership and timelines.
Track progress, identify execution risks, and resolve cross-functional challenges.
Ensure clear ownership, communication, and accountability for organizational initiatives.
Operational Management & Decision-Making
Make operational decisions within approved budgets and delegated authority.
Review and approve hiring and resource requests within established budget limits.
Work with functional leads to address operational and performance issues.
Escalate major organizational changes for Board approval when necessary.
Planning & Performance
Facilitate organizational planning and regular progress reviews.
Monitor progress against agreed objectives and identify execution risks.
Partner with the Chief of Staff to conduct leadership reviews, assess functional leads’ performance, and address performance gaps.
Provide recommendations on organizational structure, staffing, and operational improvements.
Financial & Internal Operations Oversight
Oversee organizational budget execution and resource utilization.
Work with the Chief of Staff and Finance team to ensure effective financial and administrative operations.
Maintain appropriate operational processes, reporting, and accountability.
Board & Governance Coordination
Implement Board-approved organizational priorities and decisions.
Provide regular updates on organizational performance, operational risks, and resource utilization.
Support Board and General Assembly decision-making with relevant operational information.
Ensure decisions requiring governance approval are appropriately escalated.
Requirements
Proven experience in operations leadership or cross-functional management.
Strong coordination, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing budgets, operational planning, and organizational performance.
Ability to work effectively with autonomous technical and non-technical teams.
Experience in distributed, technology-driven, or decentralized organizations.
Strong English communication skills.
Web3 or open-source ecosystem experience preferred.

Job Description
The Developer Relations Coordinator (DevRel Coordinator) oversees, tracks and coordinates developers participating in the CKBuilders and Build on CKB programmes. The DevRel Coordinator is the main point of contact for new builders working through CKB and Fiber documentation, helping them find relevant resources and connecting them with DevRel or other technical contributors when needed.
The DevRel Coordinator also maintains close relationships with developers participating in NCC programmes and helps coordinate communication and support between these builders and CKB developer teams. The role also involves highlighting selected developer contributions to the wider community through social media.
The DevRel Coordinator is a full-time contractor and reports to the NCC Director through regular meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Track and engage with active CKBuilders, CKBuilder alumni and Build on CKB members, maintaining regular communication and following up on project progress and support needs.
Redesign and maintain the CKBuilder project tracker.
Improve the visibility and presentation of developer activity across NCC programmes.
Act as the first point of contact for developers with questions, directing them to appropriate resources or connecting them with DevRel and other technical contributors when needed.
Provide constructive feedback on developer ideas and projects within the scope of the role.
Develop developer engagement strategies on CKBoost and design campaigns where appropriate.
Review weekly reports submitted by CKBuilders and follow up on progress or issues where needed.
Showcase developer activity through social media posts.
Contribute strategic input on NCC's positioning.

About the Role
Travala.com is the world's leading Web3 travel booking platform, with AVA as its native utility token. We're hiring a Senior BD Manager to own new coin listings on Travala end-to-end — sourcing targets, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals. Listings may be structured as a traditional paid fee or as an in-kind token arrangement, decided deal by deal — the specific structure isn't the focus of this role, closing quality listings is.
This is a hunter role, not a strategist or management role. You'll have sales collateral and initial market research to build from - you're not starting from a completely blank page.
While this is a fully remote position, candidates based in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region are preferred to align with working hours across our wider growth team and key internal departments, with flexibility for exceptional candidates in other locations.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full listing deal cycle: prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiation, and closing - across paid listings and in-kind/token-based listing arrangements
Build and actively manage a prioritized pipeline of target projects, using our existing research as a starting point and expanding it over time
Represent Travala directly to token project founders, BD leads, and treasury teams to pitch new listings
Negotiate commercial terms within approved guardrails, and manage the process through to signature
Keep leadership updated on pipeline status, deal velocity, and market feedback on our listing offering
Build strategic token partner relationships to drive revenue, while identifying broader ecosystem or co-marketing leads for internal teams.
Act as primary BD liaison for internal teams (product, legal, marketing, finance) to coordinate workflows, documentation, and compliant token integration.
Research and stay up to date with cryptocurrency market trends, emerging tokens, and innovative blockchain projects to identify potential listing opportunities.
What's Not in Scope
To keep this role focused and avoid overlap with our marketing team, the following sit outside this role:
Post-signature announcements, co-marketing, and campaign work - owned by our CMO's team once a deal is signed.
Broader strategic partnerships beyond listings (e.g. major platform integrations) - owned separately.
Managing other BD staff -this is an individual contributor role, not a management position.

5+ years of professional experience in business development or sales within the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.

Genuine Web3/crypto BD experience - you already understand how token teams evaluate exchange listings and partnership offers.
Existing relationships in the space are a critical component - warm pipeline beats cold outreach.
Senior enough to run a full deal cycle independently, without needing management oversight at each step.
Genuinely commission-motivated. This role is structured for someone who wants their effort and results to show up directly in their paycheck - not someone seeking a flat, low-variability package.
Strong sales instincts and comfort with rejection - this is a quota-driven, outbound-heavy role.
Not looking for a “Head of BD” or management title - this is a hands-on, deal-closing role by design.
Exchange-side experience (Preferred): Prior experience on a listings/BD team at a crypto exchange is a strong plus - you understand how listing conversations and decisions actually get made from the other side of the table.
