Senior Data Engineer - Finance Technology

We seek a dedicated team player to contribute to the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of software for diverse ventures projects. These projects are closely connected to our primary business interests and are rapidly developed with efficient team sizes. Your key role will involve actively participating in the architectural design of scalable applications across frontend user interfaces and backend infrastructure.

You will be involved in constructing and managing a data transformation framework for Finance teams. Tasks include designing and executing robust data pipelines to ensure data integrity, timely financial reporting, and customized data offerings that empower users with self-service functionalities and accurate data insights.

Responsibilities:

• Create a versatile data platform capable of supporting real-time and batch computing as well as storage requirements.
• Develop bespoke data pipeline structures tailored to specific business needs using a variety of infrastructures and delivery methods.
• Continuously improve the data platform to enhance the stability, flexibility, and resource efficiency of data assets.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with over 5 years of practical experience in data development.
• Proficiency in Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Airflow, and other prominent data platform technologies, with a deep understanding of their core principles and hands-on experience in optimizing performance.
• Sound knowledge of distributed systems, computational algorithms, and storage architectures.
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, self-motivation, and a dedication to continuous learning and skill refinement.
• Experience or familiarity with the realm of accounting would be beneficial.
