Senior Data Engineer - Finance Technology

We are seeking a team member to participate in the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of software for diverse venture projects. These projects are closely related to our core business and are rapidly developed with a small team. The role entails active contribution to designing various components for scalable applications, encompassing frontend UI and backend infrastructure.

We are responsible for crafting and upholding a data transformation pipeline for Finance teams. This role involves creating and implementing reliable data pipelines that ensure data quality, timely delivery, and accurate financial reporting for Finance operations. The aim is to deliver customized data solutions that enable users with self-service capabilities and facilitate precise responses to their data queries.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and construct a versatile data platform with the capability to support real-time and batch computing and storage requirements.
• Design and implement data pipeline architectures customized to specific business contexts, utilizing various infrastructures and delivery methods.
• Continuously improve the data platform to enhance stability of data assets, flexibility, and resource utilization efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields, coupled with over 5 years of practical experience in data development.
• Proficiency in Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Airflow, and other key data platform technologies, alongside a strong grasp of their fundamental principles and a track record in performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, computation, and storage architectures.
• Excellent communication skills, sound logical reasoning, self-driven motivation, and a commitment to ongoing learning and knowledge enhancement.
• Experience or knowledge in the accounting sector is advantageous.
