Description
We are seeking a candidate to join our software development team focused on designing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various projects related to our core businesses. These projects are quickly developed with a lean team. As a team member, you will be actively involved in devising scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Clickhouse, and other big data platforms to ensure system stability and data security.
- Manage and administer Linux systems, proficient in common commands, and possess scripting skills in Shell, Python, or similar languages.
- Operate big data components on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and have hands-on experience with container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Establish and uphold monitoring systems for tracking platform performance improvement, optimizing configurations and resource allocation, and resolving performance issues using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, among others.
- Deploy, upgrade, and scale essential big data components like Flink, Kafka, Spark, Impala, Clickhouse, and Kudu.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for operations, and offer support in platform solution design and enhancements.
- Explore and integrate new technologies to streamline operation processes and provide technical guidance to enhance client teams' capabilities.
- Desired: Experience in n8n workflow development.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CDH/CDP/HDP or related Hadoop distributions with practical experience in big data platform operations is preferred.
- Proficient in Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Python, or similar languages).
- Experience working with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Sound knowledge of big data components and performance tuning, capable of addressing stability and scalability issues independently.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills essential for producing documentation and delivering solutions.
- Self-motivated individual with an interest in new technologies, adept at applying innovative approaches to enhance operations and drive efficiency.
