Senior Developer Relations Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Developer Relations (DevRel) Manager to lead our content strategy and serve as a key advocate for Gelato RaaS and Middleware Web3 Services. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, content creation skills, and community engagement capabilities to elevate Gelato’s presence in the developer community and beyond.

Responsibilities:
 

Content Strategy Leadership:

• Lead the design, implementation, delivery, and evolution of Gelato's DevRel content strategy.
• Research and stay updated on industry narratives and cutting-edge technologies to inform the creation of forward-thinking content that positions Gelato at the forefront of the conversation.
   

Content Creation:

• Develop high-quality content, including Twitter threads, demo videos, blog posts, and more, to promote Gelato RaaS and Web3 Services.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and other resources to enhance the information available on Gelato's website, GitHub, and other channels.
• Serve as the primary technical advocate for Gelato, promoting our technologies and solutions through online platforms, workshops, and events.

Product-led Leadership:

• Work closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to align community initiatives with company objectives.
• Act as a bridge between the developer community and our product team, providing feedback and insights to improve our platform.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all developer-focused initiatives.
• Build and manage simple dApps that demonstrate the capabilities of Gelato Products, showcasing practical applications and inspiring developers.

Requirements

• You have a deep understanding and are a user of the Gelato ecosystem tech from developer frameworks, DAs, middleware infra. You can produce short-form, believable, high-resonance content on it.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, especially developers and stakeholders in the Web3 ecosystem.
• Proven track record in creating high-quality product-led content that resonates with general audiences and developers across various channels, such as product-focused twitter threads, video tutorials, blog posts, workshops, courses, and code tutorials.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional technical experience in one or more of the following: Javascript / Node.js, Solidity. Proficiency in developer tools, infrastructure, and services within the Web3 ecosystem.
• Comprehensive knowledge of key development areas in the Web3 space, including INFRA, DeFi, and NFTs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making ability, with flexibility to adapt to evolving market and technology trends in the Web3 field.
• Passion for developer advocacy and community-building, with a desire to stay at the forefront of the industry.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to identify and prioritize educational needs and opportunities for developers.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills, enabling clear and effective expression and connection with others.

What you’ll bring to Gelato
 

• 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Software Engineering, or related role, with 2 years of experience in web3 infrastructure ecosystem
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with specific strength in unpacking technically complicated topics
• Ownership mentality; you are the sole owner of your vision and initiatives and will do what is required to ensure success
• Strong hands-on development experience. You have no problem rolling up your sleeves and building a demo if that’s what’s needed
• Highly organized, with an ability to juggle multiple projects at any given time without sacrificing quality/nuance
