We are keen on recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer to augment our Institutional team in our London office. Key Responsibilities:
- Embrace advanced technology to optimize trading performance and mitigate complexities.
- Collaborate closely with traders and engineers, taking hands-on responsibility for trading and operational challenges.
- Architect, maintain, and support low-latency trading systems, ensuring streamlined data processing and swift transaction execution.
- Enhance our cloud-native continuous delivery stack to streamline developer experience and deployment processes across our internal platforms.
- Work closely with the core SRE team to provide input on tooling improvements and implement upstream policies.
- Deploy code integrating established practices with infrastructure-based tooling.
- Develop monitoring tools for our institutional services.
- Manage and optimize a Python/Rust-based infrastructure for production trading, prioritizing scalability, fault-tolerance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuously enhance security, reliability, and cost-efficiency through automation and best DevOps practices.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in CI/CD, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the existing architecture at Blockchain.com, enforce best practices within the Institutional teams, and ensure consistency across the platform.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions.
- Strong command of Python, SQL, and Linux.
- Familiarity with Rust is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad.
