About the Role:

The Senior DevOps Engineer position at Figure Technology Solutions plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and expanding the cloud infrastructure and engineer-focused platform tools. We seek a team member who is inquisitive, innovative, and collaborative to assist in supporting our transformative direct-to-consumer financial services products.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance our internal platforms with new features to improve the engineer's experience.
• Identify and address process-related issues proactively for improvements.
• Drive the development of innovative technical solutions while following iterative principles.
• Collaborate with project leads and software engineers across various teams.
• Use technical skills to solve real-world problems and contribute to the team on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in DevOps/SRE/development in an agile environment.
• A solid understanding of DevOps best practices and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proficient in driving projects from concept to release.
• Experience with cloud computing providers like GCP or AWS.
• Skilled in Kubernetes, Kubernetes Operators, and modern API Gateways such as Kong or NGINX.
• Proficiency in Go or a similar programming language.
• Driven towards Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform or OpenTofu and automation tools like Atlantis or Terraform Cloud.
• Experience in scaling CI/CD platforms like Github Actions and ArgoCD, focusing on engineer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with maintaining high availability and high-traffic web environments.
