Description
Our client specializes in offering a decentralized option for collateral management and settlement protocols and is on a mission to establish a permissionless, cross-chain infrastructure to enable the instant deployment of liquid and composable options products. They aim to facilitate the design and execution of diverse and complex trading strategies through the use of multi-leg conditional orders. The company leverages advanced infrastructure and a decentralized, permissionless architecture to optimize trading opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Kubernetes and traditional infrastructure on both cloud and on-premises environments
- Manage a hybrid multi-cloud setup and configurations
- Handle software upgrades, patches, hotfixes, backup, and restore operations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose application, infrastructure, and network issues
- Enhance system observability by optimizing monitoring systems, service mesh, and tracing mechanisms
- Implement DevOps best practices culturally and technologically
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible
- Implement the GitOps model for application management and deployment
- Collaborate with engineering teams and external contractors to devise solutions for raised problems
- Design solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and stability at their core
- Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support various deployment models
- Setup and manage blockchain infrastructure to support new chains and business growth
Requirements:
- Proficiency in designing and managing highly-available distributed systems using Kubernetes and other container orchestration methods
- Strong command of Linux shell, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with the GitOps model, including tools like ArgoCD and Flux
- Ability to troubleshoot problems across the technology stack, including networking, performance, hardware issues, and memory leaks
- Proficient in managing observability platforms with open-source tools like Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Alert Manager, and ELK
- Understanding of managing, monitoring, and optimizing network traffic, including diagnosing problems related to TCP and UDP
- Knowledge of Web3 technologies, blockchain infrastructure, and smart contract development is a plus
- Programming experience in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript is advantageous
