About the Role
As the Senior Director/Vice President of Product Design, you will lead a dynamic product design team, crafting and executing a global design strategy to enhance product experience and facilitate business growth. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product Management, and R&D, you will ensure that design solutions align with market demands and corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global design strategy in alignment with the company’s vision.
- Lead and mentor the design team, fostering innovation and enhancing design quality.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to effectively execute design strategies.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of the design team.
- Ensure design consistency across all outputs in adherence to brand standards.
- Continuously optimize design processes for efficiency and quality output.
- Stay current with design trends and industry dynamics to maintain competitiveness.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of design experience, with 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in product design, copy design, design systems, and branding.
- Experience leading diverse teams in a cross-cultural environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent stress management skills to handle multi-dimensional challenges.
- Proficient in bilingual communication (English, Chinese).
