Senior Electromagnetic Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting numerical and analytical modeling on electromagnetic devices
- Performing multi-physics simulations, including thermal simulation and mechanical stress analysis of devices
- Contributing to electromagnetic design, material selection, winding topology design, and control system co-simulations
- Conducting electrical machine fault analysis of electromagnetic components
- Providing detailed simulations of actively controlled electromagnetic systems and magnetic field measurements
- Executing Finite-Element-Analysis on power transformer core and winding material losses
Essential Requirements:
- In-depth expertise with Finite-Element Analysis tools such as Ansys Maxwell, Altair Flux, FLUENT, Comsol
- Proficiency in MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Sound knowledge of grain-oriented electrical steel, ferrite, and permanent magnet applications
- Experience with magnetic field measurements techniques like Hall Probe and rotating coils
- Proficiency in design tools like SolidWorks
- Ability to produce technical reports and design basis documents
- Effective communication skills extending to a wide audience
- Willingness to ask challenging questions and engage in constructive debates
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in electrical machine design and motor drive control
- Familiarity with devices testing and performance evaluation
