Senior Engineer, Identity and Access Management

Responsibilities:

• Offer expertise in deploying and utilizing Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities for consumer and enterprise systems
• Collaborate with technical teams to advise on IAM matters, influencing solution design and system support
• Lead and manage the administration of IAM platforms
• Address break/fix issues, monitor systems, and facilitate change management across various environments
• Handle Level 2 support requests, including bugs, outages, and new feature inquiries
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements in Circle's solutions
• Develop and update IAM policies, standards, and procedures
• Generate reports and assist with compliance inquiries
• Align IAM security practices with overall security strategies to mitigate risk

Requirements:

• 7+ years of implementing identity and access systems using various coding languages
• Passion for scalable, reproducible security management
• Self-motivated problem-solver able to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities and making sound judgments on priorities
• Knowledge of IAM protocols and concepts like SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and PAM
• Experience with IAM technologies from leading providers like Okta, Sailpoint, or Microsoft
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001/27002 or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Previous work in financial services or financial technology sector preferred
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Experience in an AWS environment and software development skills in languages like Python, Golang, or similar

Additional Information:

• This role is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates
• Starting salary range: $147,500 - $195,000
• Annual bonus target: 12.5%
