They are currently looking for a capable Software Engineer to collaborate with a Product Manager in the development of a new SaaS data platform application.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions utilizing the advanced features of Snowflake, impacting everything from data pipelines to reporting systems.
- Write clean, maintainable code across the entire tech stack, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to facilitate seamless data processes and storage.
- Dive into Snowflake-native application development, pushing the platform's boundaries and possibilities.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish project scope, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security while upholding best practices for data quality and protection.
- Enhance Snowflake's performance through data model and query optimizations.
- Monitor data processes proactively, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
- Work with QA engineers to refine solutions to maintain high code quality through unit and system testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in software development and data warehousing solutions, with strong SQL proficiency.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and architecture to support large-scale applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, coupled with an understanding of cloud infrastructure.
- Beneficial to have experience with Generative AI (e.g., GPT models) and Machine Learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledge or interest in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for involvement in UI and backend development.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and design efficient data solutions.
- Strong debugging skills and efficient troubleshooting abilities for technical issues.
