Backend Engineer
Description
We are looking for a skilled backend developer or team lead to join our dynamic team. As part of the backend development team, you will be involved in designing, developing, and enhancing software for projects that complement our core business. This role requires a solid background in building high-performance trading systems specifically for equities and derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of trading business systems and manage technical teams efficiently
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of trading tools and products, from conceptualization to production
- Participate in requirement reviews, analysis, architecture design, and technical solution evaluation
- Contribute to system improvements, key projects, and technical issue resolutions
- Suggest optimization strategies for business processes to improve system efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate closely with trading product teams for the development of core business modules and workflows
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience, preferably in financial/trading systems
- Fluent in English
- Expertise in high-performance, distributed systems with proficiency in modern backend technologies and microservices architecture
- Prior experience in trading system architecture and familiarity with trading instruments and tools
- Proficient in Go language, with strong knowledge of at least one database system (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.) and familiarity with Event Sourcing
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience in implementing RESTful APIs in both frontend and backend development
