Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Looking for a talented individual to join a leading blockchain development team at Ava Labs. The team focuses on deploying cutting-edge solutions for Web3, driven by innovations on Avalanche. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions for various platforms.
• Develop and automate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, code approval processes, and release management procedures.
• Expand system architecture and operating system support beyond current standards.
• Establish quality standards and engineering targets for build releases.
• Create enterprise-wide monitoring and alerting frameworks.
• Automate cloud technology usage through tools like Terraform.
• Collaborate with protocol development teams to integrate their software into the continuous integration pipeline.
• Provide strategic guidance on infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security practices.
• Drive initiatives to enhance developer productivity, software quality, and support for software deployment across different cloud platforms and consumer operating systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Demonstrated success in scaling rapidly growing startup environments.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud networking and orchestration (EKS, ECS, VPC, S3, ELB).
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and/or Ansible.
• Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, or RKT containerization.
• Knowledge of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Travis CI, or Circle CI.
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience working with Linux-based infrastructures (preferably Ubuntu).
• Skills in scripting languages and script creation (preference for GoLang).
• Understanding of decentralized architecture design patterns and distributed systems.

Salary Range: $142,400 to $178,000
