Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions for various platforms.
- Develop and automate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, code approval processes, and release management procedures.
- Expand system architecture and operating system support beyond current standards.
- Establish quality standards and engineering targets for build releases.
- Create enterprise-wide monitoring and alerting frameworks.
- Automate cloud technology usage through tools like Terraform.
- Collaborate with protocol development teams to integrate their software into the continuous integration pipeline.
- Provide strategic guidance on infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security practices.
- Drive initiatives to enhance developer productivity, software quality, and support for software deployment across different cloud platforms and consumer operating systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Demonstrated success in scaling rapidly growing startup environments.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud networking and orchestration (EKS, ECS, VPC, S3, ELB).
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and/or Ansible.
- Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, or RKT containerization.
- Knowledge of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Travis CI, or Circle CI.
- Familiarity with automation and configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience working with Linux-based infrastructures (preferably Ubuntu).
- Skills in scripting languages and script creation (preference for GoLang).
- Understanding of decentralized architecture design patterns and distributed systems.
Salary Range: $142,400 to $178,000
