We are seeking a talented Senior iOS Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building exceptional user experiences that are both innovative and scalable across all our business lines. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to influence the direction, design, and execution of our future product experiences. As a Senior iOS Engineer at Compound Labs, your responsibilities will include guiding the long-term technical direction and vision for our mobile products, building and releasing high-quality mobile experiences with a focus on performance and reliability, collaborating with Design, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure a user-friendly app experience, working closely with other engineers to ensure cohesive user experiences across our products, leading decision-making efforts for our iOS products to achieve business goals, collaborating with a small team to plan and own projects with a long-term impact, and mentoring and teaching other engineers.
To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record in developing mobile applications and shipping user features, a solid understanding of current trends and best practices in iOS software development, exceptional judgment and problem-solving skills, at least 5 years of professional engineering experience, a deep understanding of iOS frameworks and programming languages such as SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift, and Objective-C, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with Web3 frontend technologies like Web3.swift, creating custom design systems or declarative UI frameworks, building elegant products across iOS devices, using frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, or Angular, and having a background in trading or financial services, blockchain, and related systems will be considered a plus.
