Senior Java Developer (Exchange/ NTS)

The team responsible for the development and maintenance of an advanced trading platform is seeking individuals to join their ranks. With a global reach spanning across multiple regions, they are dedicated to offering a secure and seamless trading environment for their clientele.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement various products and solutions for the derivatives exchange platform, focusing on the full-stack and utilizing micro-service architecture.
• Collaborate closely with the product management team to enhance existing models, create new products, and develop algorithms.
• Conduct code audits, tests, and releases and establish a deployable system with automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery.
• Address issues in back-end infrastructure and platforms, finding and implementing effective solutions.
• Analyze and resolve cross-stack challenges and work in conjunction with the security team to construct and manage highly secure, scalable infrastructure and back-end services.
• Assist in maintaining code and function implementation documents and collaborate with the DevOps team to enhance the technology stack continuously.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in programming with a strong emphasis on Java.
• Ideal background includes experience at an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Exchange developing trading applications for various markets such as Equity, FX, or Derivatives.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology and experience with automated testing methods.
• Proven attention to detail, a commitment to improving processes, and a sense of responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Openness to facing challenges, willingness to learn, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced industry.
• Experience with derivative products is advantageous.
