(Senior) Java Developer (OTC Systems)
The exchange team is responsible for developing and maintaining an advanced trading platform that operates globally. The team's primary objective is to deliver a secure and seamless trading experience for clients across APAC, EMEA, and North America.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of products and solutions for the derivatives exchange platform in multiple micro-service based components
- Collaborate with the product management team to enhance existing models, products, and algorithms
- Participate in code auditing, testing, and product release processes
- Create a highly deployable system with automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery capabilities
- Address backend infrastructure and platform issues by proposing and implementing effective solutions
- Analyze and resolve cross-stack problems
- Collaborate with the security team to establish and operate secure and scalable infrastructure and backend services
- Manage all code and function implementation documentation
- Work closely with the DevOps team to enhance and upgrade the technology stack continually
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience programming in Java
- Proficiency in market risk management
- Ideally have experience working at an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Exchange in developing trading applications for Equity, FX, or Derivative products in traditional or crypto markets
- Skilled in Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology and automated testing
- Strong attention to detail, a drive for continuous improvement, and a sense of responsibility towards tasks
- Willingness to embrace challenges and learn proactively
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced industry
- Prior experience in OTC RFQ workflow/Structural product system development is advantageous
- Experience with Derivative products is a plus
