(Senior) Java Developer (Real Time Risk / Margin Systems)

The team responsible for developing and maintaining a cutting-edge trading platform is seeking a skilled individual to join their global team, which spans APAC, EMEA, and North America. The primary objective is to provide clients with a seamless and secure trading experience.

Responsibilities

• Handles full-stack design, development, and implementation of products and solutions for the derivatives exchange platform.
• Collaborates with the product management team to optimize existing models and develop new products and algorithms.
• Plays a role in code audit, testing, and release processes.
• Constructs a highly deployable system with automated testing procedures and continuous integration.
• Identifies and resolves issues within back-end infrastructure and platforms.
• Addresses cross-stack problems.
• Works closely with the security team to establish secure and scalable infrastructure.
• Contributions to managing all code and function implementation documentation.
• Collaborates with the DevOps team for ongoing technology stack enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java programming.
• Familiar with market risk concepts.
• Ideally has experience developing trading applications for Equity, FX, or Derivatives in traditional or crypto markets with an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Exchange.
• Proficient in implementing TDD methodology and automated testing.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and strong responsibility in task completion.
• Open to challenges and demonstrating a willingness to learn.
• Capable of working diligently under pressure and adapting to fast-paced industry changes.
• Previous exposure to Real-Time Risk/Margin System development is advantageous.
• Possesses knowledge of derivative products.
