(Senior) Java Developer (Real Time Risk / Margin Systems)

Job Summary:

The team responsible for the development of an advanced trading platform is seeking a skilled individual to contribute to their efforts. Operating globally, this team strives to deliver a seamless and secure trading experience to its clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions for the derivatives exchange platform across various micro-service components.
• Collaborate with the product management team to enhance existing models or create new ones.
• Conduct code audits, testing, and releases.
• Establish an easily deployable system with automated testing and continuous integration.
• Troubleshoot back-end infrastructure issues and provide solutions.
• Analyze and resolve cross-stack problems.
• Collaborate with the security team to develop and maintain highly secure, scalable back-end services.
• Manage all code and function implementation documents.
• Coordinate with the DevOps team to enhance the technology stack continuously.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java programming.
• Knowledge of market risk.
• Experience developing trading applications in Equity, FX, or Derivative products, preferably in traditional or cryptocurrency markets.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and a drive for improvement.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced industry.
• Prior experience in Real-Time Risk or Margin System development is advantageous.
• Knowledge of derivative products is a plus.
