Senior Java Engineer - Trading Tech

As we advance our next-generation cryptocurrency exchange, we are in search of diligent individuals to contribute to the continuous evolution and enhancement of our highly scalable exchange system. In this role, you will collaborate with our Futures Trading backend development team to tackle the unique challenges presented by operating a platform serving millions of users with 24/7 availability.

We are looking for skilled Software Engineers to join our Asia-based team, focusing on backend development for our cutting-edge trading platform.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement scalable and robust Java-based systems
• Work closely with teams to define system requirements and devise architectural solutions
• Develop and fine-tune infrastructure components such as databases, servers, and networks
• Deploy automated monitoring and deployment solutions for enhanced system reliability
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues
• Implement caching, load balancing, and optimization strategies
• Maintain detailed documentation pertaining to system architecture and deployment processes
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot concerns, and apply updates for uninterrupted service

Requirements

• Experience in Network optimization, proficient in C++, CPP, and Java
• Over 7 years of hands-on experience in low-latency environments and high-frequency trading ecosystems
• Proficiency in MySQL, with familiarity in at least one NoSQL DB
• Skilled in distributed system design, with knowledge of at least one messaging middleware and its underlying principles
• Ability to adapt under pressure and quickly acquire new knowledge
• Strong cross-team communication skills
