BitGo is seeking to recruit a committed Senior Product Designer to contribute to enhancing BitGo’s Wallet Services. This role reports to the Head of Design and involves envisioning and executing innovative platform features. The ideal candidate will advocate for user needs while aligning with business objectives. A self-motivated individual who excels in managing multiple projects within a startup environment is crucial for this position. It presents an opportunity to be part of an adventurous team dedicated to solving distinctive challenges within the decentralized finance realm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead digital product design initiatives from research through launch
- Engage in all phases of the design process, including research, ideation, design, and user testing
- Represent user requirements through various tools like personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Coordinate and lead workshops, design reviews, user interviews, and internal sessions
- Collaborate with diverse teams and promote design excellence
- Enhance toolkits, design systems, and brand assets
- Contribute to the growth, efficiency, and culture of the BitGo design team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in designing web-based and mobile software
- Profound understanding of the product design process, design methodologies, and tools
- Ability to empathize with users and translate business understanding into intuitive designs
- Demonstrated capability to justify design decisions using data, strong design principles, and a creative approach
- Skilled in visualizing complex data and user processes through diagrams and elegant interfaces
- Proficiency in layout, iconography, typography, and information architecture
- Enthusiasm for exploring new design methods, tools, processes, and emerging technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating case studies and the design process behind solutions
Nice to have:
- Experience with digital assets and Web3 technologies
- Active involvement in the design community through speaking engagements, writing, hosting events, and showcasing work
