Senior Product Designer (DeFi)

About the role:

The company is searching for an experienced Senior Product Designer to spearhead the design efforts for the DeFi Wallet. This role involves leading the design, testing, and enhancement of a product that enables users to engage with decentralized finance and apps. The DeFi Wallet is intricately linked with the Cronos chain, the main company app, and Visa cards offering unique opportunities.

Each product designer collaborates closely with product managers, engineers, and research partners. Together, they take ownership of a section of the app and work together to deliver solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the resolution of complex design challenges from start to finish. Translate customer insights and data analytics into innovative concepts to drive new product and feature development.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly engineers, to ensure a smooth transition from concept to product release.
• Take a leading role in defining and evolving the product roadmap in partnership with product managers.
• Foster collaboration among designers to enhance overall design standards and processes, staying at the forefront of industry innovation.
• Use your experience to mentor and guide other designers, cultivating a collaborative and growth-oriented design team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in designing digital products/services for a B2C environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing design work for digital products and services.
• Interest in DeFi, experience in crypto trading and exploring web3.
• Expertise in creating intuitive and engaging consumer experiences for web and mobile platforms.
• Strong UX thinking and proficiency in visual design principles.
• Exceptional written communication skills for clear design rationale.
• Proficient in design tools, specifically Figma and prototyping tools.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative environments and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Dedication to fostering a collaborative and open-minded culture within the team.
