Senior Product Designer - Exchange

About the role:

We are in need of a Senior Product Designer to oversee the institutional platform at Crypto.com. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing complex trader workflows and a solid foundation in modular/atomic design systems. This position offers the opportunity to:

Responsibilities:

• Design a modular interface.
• Establish and manage a system of modular components that can be assembled into advanced trading views seamlessly.
• Create customized workflows and interactions to support efficient customization and intuitive navigation.
• Design detailed interfaces and visualizations that present extensive data in formats that are user-friendly for traders.

Research and Measurement:

• Engage with users to comprehend their requirements.
• Conduct research and analyze platform usage to identify areas for enhancement.
• Monitor the impact of changes on key metrics.

Cross-Functional Excellence:

• Partner with engineering leads to ensure smooth implementation of design system components.
• Organize workshops and design reviews to align teams on design principles and execution.
• Collaborate with product teams to incorporate their feedback into the system based on their needs.

Technical Implementation:

• Work closely with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of design solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and guidelines for implementation.
• Lead discussions on architecture and design patterns.

Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in designing trading or financial platforms, particularly focusing on complex data workflows.
• Minimum of 7 years of product design experience, including at least 3 years in desktop-class interfaces.
• Proven success in building and scaling impactful products.
• Impressive portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work and knowledge of trading environments.
• Advanced skills in Figma and expertise in prototyping.
• Understanding of front-end development principles and accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in user research and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate design solutions and concepts.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficient in creating and managing component libraries using modular and atomic design methods.
• Familiarity with design tokens and systematic visual design strategies.
• Knowledge of version control systems for design assets.
• Understanding of modern front-end frameworks and their impact on scalable design systems.

Leadership Abilities:

• Skilled in facilitating workshops and leading meetings for effective cross-team alignment.
• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships across technical and product teams.
