Senior Product Designer - Exchange

About the role:

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Product Designer to assume responsibility for designing Crypto.com's institutional platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of crafting designs for intricate trader workflows and a strong background in modular/atomic design systems. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a modular interface.
• Develop a system of modular components that seamlessly come together to create advanced trading views.
• Design customized workflows and interactions to facilitate easy customization and user-friendly navigation.
• Create detailed interfaces and visualizations to effectively organize and present extensive data in formats suitable for traders.

Research and Measure:

• Engage with users to comprehend their needs.
• Research and analyze platform usage to identify areas for improvement and opportunities.
• Monitor the impact of changes made and analyze their effects on key metrics.

Cross-Functional Excellence:

• Collaborate with engineering leads to ensure smooth implementation of design system components and interactions.
• Conduct workshops and design reviews to align teams on design principles and implementation strategies.
• Work closely with product teams to incorporate feedback and meet their requirements.

Technical Implementation:

• Work collaboratively with developers to ensure the feasibility of design solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and guidelines for implementation.
• Initiate discussions on architecture and design patterns.

Requirements:

• Experience in designing trading interfaces and financial platforms, focusing on data-rich workflows.
• Minimum of 7 years of product design experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to desktop-class interfaces.
• Established track record of building and scaling impactful, complex products.
• Portfolio showcasing top-tier design and understanding of trading environments.
• Proficient in Figma and adept at prototyping.
• Understanding of front-end development principles and accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in user research and making data-informed decisions.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills for conveying design solutions and ideas clearly.

Technical Expertise:

• Expertise in creating and managing component libraries using modular and atomic design methodologies.
• Familiarity with design tokens and systematic visual design approaches.
• Proficiency in version control systems for design assets.
• Knowledge of contemporary front-end frameworks and their impact on scalable design systems.

Leadership Abilities:

• Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills for effective team alignment.
• Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders across technical and product teams.
