The Role:

As the Senior Product Manager at Story Protocol, your primary responsibility is to collaborate closely with the leadership team, particularly the Chief Product Officer (CPO), to oversee the implementation of our product roadmap. Your key focus will be on ensuring the timely delivery of our products, incorporating user feedback, and ensuring that our IP infrastructure aligns with the requirements of our community. You will be accountable for coordinating the implementation of the product strategy with the overarching objectives of the company, managing day-to-day processes, and upholding quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute product strategy in alignment with company objectives and market demands.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch, with a committed emphasis on execution and delivery.
• Translate customer and design partner feedback into tangible product enhancements to meet user requirements.
• Oversee product roadmap execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, delivery of milestones, and maintenance of quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and developer relations teams to ensure seamless development and optimal user experience.
• Provide clear guidance and requirements to cross-functional teams to facilitate the breakdown of complex problems into manageable tasks.
• Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators for continuous improvement and efficient execution.
• Assist in developing user and developer-oriented applications to drive adoption and engagement within our IP ecosystem.
• Drive the integration of smart contract design, working closely with engineers to ensure scalability and protocol enhancements.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in product management with a track record of successfully executing product launches in consumer applications, preferably within the blockchain/crypto sector.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable tasks and drive their completion effectively.
• Proficiency in smart contract architecture and design in a protocol-oriented setting, particularly in blockchain/crypto applications.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a strong focus on execution to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills to simplify complex ideas and engage with stakeholders across the organization.
• Ideally located in the Bay Area with the capability to work on-site three days a week.
