Senior Product Manager (Derivatives- HK based)

Our Product Management team plays a key role in driving product initiatives throughout their lifecycle and launching products/features globally. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including engineers, designers, marketers, and analysts, you will oversee the development of innovative features and products.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Product Manager specializing in derivatives to lead product initiatives from conception to implementation. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and expand a groundbreaking platform with a global reach. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver exceptional products and features to our diverse user base.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the team’s roadmap, milestones, and priorities aligned with strategic objectives
• Define product requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams to release derivative products promptly, and ensure adherence to test plans
• Conduct user studies, engage with customers to understand and address their needs, and iterate based on feedback
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities, analyze the competitive landscape in the derivatives market, and inform product strategy
• Utilize user insights and data analytics to prioritize product features and make informed decisions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and risk management principles in derivatives products, collaborating with legal and compliance teams
• Manage specific features within the derivatives product line and maintain the backlog effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or relevant field
• Proven experience in product management within the financial services industry, focusing on derivatives products
• Strong knowledge of investment asset classes, derivatives instruments including options, futures, swaps, and their applications in financial markets
• Experience in successfully launching and improving software or financial products at scale
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to achieving results
• Data-driven decision-making approach with a user-centric perspective
• Passion for creating exceptional customer-facing products and experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficiency in agile development methodologies and product management tools
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management related to derivatives trading
• Collaborative and humble approach to work and teamwork
• Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong
