Senior Product Manager, Margin & Settlement Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities
- Define the product roadmap and strategy for margin financing, securities lending, and clearing and settlement systems at the core of the trading infrastructure.
- Take charge of the architectural design of clearing and settlement systems encompassing trade clearing, position and balance settlement, multilateral netting, fee and interest settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Enhance core margin systems, which includes collateral valuation, cross/isolated margin mechanisms, interest computation, borrowing/lending processes, and liquidation procedures.
- Collaborate closely with trading engineering teams to translate intricate financing and settlement requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to launch and continuous enhancement of existing and new features.
- Conduct performance monitoring of systems, ensure settlement accuracy, and maintain the integrity of reconciliation processes by anticipating and rectifying issues proactively.
- Ensure that systems comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of margin financing, securities lending mechanisms, as well as clearing and settlement flows including netting, reconciliation, collateral management, and interest accrual.
- Demonstrated experience in designing or managing the architecture of clearing/settlement or margin systems within traditional finance or the crypto sector.
- Background in a technical or quantitative field such as Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Ability to comprehend trading strategies, risk evaluation methods, and settlement workflows, and translate them into product specifications.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior product-related experience is not mandatory but familiarity with system-level tasks is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Mandarin language is preferred to facilitate communication with global stakeholders and international partners.
