(Senior) Product Manager, Margin Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the product roadmap for Margin backend systems, specifically focusing on Unified Trading Account (UTA) capabilities.
• Enhance core functions related to margin calculations, leverage, collateral management, risk ratios, and liquidation strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Risk, Quant, and Trading departments to establish robust and scalable backend systems.
• Translate intricate margin and risk requirements into comprehensive PRDs, system flows, and technical specifications.
• Implement system enhancements to boost accuracy, stability, latency, and overall margin effectiveness.
• Facilitate seamless integration of unified account experiences through coordination with Spot, Derivatives, Wallet, and Risk teams.
• Have overall ownership of the product lifecycle spanning from discovery and development to launch and continuous optimization.

Requirements

• Open to candidates across all experience levels; prior product experience is not mandatory as long as you have worked with trading systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial products like Margin, Futures, Perpetual swaps, and options.
• Background in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., CS, Financial Engineering, Math).
• Proficient in interpreting trading algorithms, risk management techniques, and translating them into product requirements.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to effectively communicate with global stakeholders and international partners.
