Senior Product Manager, Options (Backend Facing)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the product strategy and roadmap for the backend systems used in Options trading, emphasizing performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage key backend product elements such as order management, risk engine, pricing models, and settlement systems to maintain a solid trading infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with different teams, including Backend Engineers, Quant Developers, Trading System Architects, and DevOps, to define technical requirements and deliver scalable backend solutions.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from feasibility evaluations and system design to deployment, monitoring, and continuous enhancements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of system metrics, trading patterns, latency challenges, and error logs to proactively identify and address bottlenecks for system improvement.
• Keep abreast of regulatory mandates, exchange protocols, and industry benchmarks to ensure compliance and relevance of backend systems.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Options trading products and derivatives, with practical experience in overseeing backend trading system architecture or infrastructure products.
• Minimum of 4 years in product management, particularly within fintech, trading platforms, or high-frequency trading systems.
• Technical proficiency or strong familiarity with Trading backend architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate complex backend issues into structured product deliverables.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is desirable for effective communication with global partners and clients.
