Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality, timely financial reporting, and delivering intuitive data products to empower users with self-service capabilities and accurate data insights.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Python scripting
- Strong SQL skills for querying, data transformation, and performance optimization
- Experience working with Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) in Apache Airflow or similar tools
- Familiarity with version control using GitHub, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Effective communication in spoken English
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/cloud platforms, and unit testing
- Bonus experience in Elixir, Cloudera Data Warehouse, AWS Athena/Tableau
Responsibilities:
- Design and enhance Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) using Python and Apache Airflow to improve financial reporting data
- Manage internal tools for handling sensitive company data effectively
- Collaborate with various teams including Data Science, Data Warehouse, Exchange, Backend, and Finance to address data requirements and deliver solutions
