Senior QA Automation Engineer (Exchange / Trading Platform)

• The exchange team is responsible for developing and maintaining a sophisticated trading platform that offers a secure and seamless experience for clients globally. Operating in various regions such as APAC, EMEA, and North America, the team continually strives to enhance the platform's functionalities.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans and cases, utilizing code to tackle technical obstacles and streamline the test cycle through automation.
• Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate outcomes, and engage in day-to-day QA activities.
• Enhance and maintain test frameworks, tools, and technologies to uphold high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with Development, Test, and Product Management teams to devise and implement effective test and validation strategies.
• Oversee test cases and results, reporting on metrics related to testing and defects.
• Generate, execute, and troubleshoot automated test scenarios in various systems.
• Contribute to the development of robust automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Participate in constructing a Continuous Integration (CI) environment and continuous process enhancement.
• Identify necessary improvements in testing and development processes and make enhancements to automation tools as needed.
• Maintain high-quality standards in a dynamic and evolving work atmosphere.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Backend server system QA with a preference for Algo trading expertise.
• Familiarity with mobile and web testing in addition to automated test methodologies emphasizing quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in working with different frameworks like TestNG, Appium, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and coding skills, preferably in Java and/or Python.
• Understanding of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading concepts.
• Ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into practical test plans and cases.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with some exposure to continuous integration practices (e.g., CircleCI).
• Experience in agile environments and the capability to work across Windows and Linux systems is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for enhancing code quality through collaboration with the development team.
• Proficiency in applying coding standards and actively participating in code reviews.
