Binance, a global blockchain ecosystem known for its leading cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a skilled QA Engineer (mid to senior level) to oversee Integration Testing of their high-performance backend software stack.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of testing, including designing tests, developing scripts, executing tests, integrating scenarios into the framework, and continuously enhancing automation for improved efficiency.
This full-time role offers a hybrid working arrangement in the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to develop, test, and deliver high-quality software products.
- Design and develop scripted Python tests for integration test scenarios.
- Prepare integration test scenarios for new features, integrate them into CI, and approve them for production.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and communicate effectively with other teams.
- Identify deficiencies in existing integration tests and implement enhancements.
- Improve the integration framework for better automation and reporting.
- Preferred background in development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend QA engineering experience.
- Proficient in full cycle testing, from designing tests to execution.
- Strong UNIX/Linux experience.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Experience with testing backend services like APIs, databases, and distributed services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
- Fluency in English for coordination with international partners; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
