Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are a team dedicated to designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various venture projects that are closely related to our core businesses. These projects are fast-paced, lean-team initiatives. As a member of our team, you will actively participate in designing various components for scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

We are currently looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who possesses a wealth of knowledge in mobile and API test automation, coupled with practical experience in leveraging AI/LLM technologies to enhance quality engineering. Your primary responsibility will involve constructing advanced, AI-infused test automation systems to improve the quality, efficiency, and intelligence of our testing processes for the Cryptocurrency App.

NCG (New and Contemporary Guarantees) Job Functions

• Plan, develop, and implement test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on automation to expedite the testing cycle and overcome technical hurdles through coding.

• Create, maintain, and continually enhance test frameworks, tools, and technologies, including AI-integrated test generation, smart test selection, and automated result analysis.

• Integrate AI-powered features into our QA pipeline, such as LLM-based test case generation, intelligent deduplication, log/error analysis, and self-correcting test scripts.

• Collaborate with Development, Product Management, and fellow QA engineers to formulate and implement effective test and validation strategies for new functionalities.

• Estimate testing efforts, assess and communicate test outcomes, and actively engage in day-to-day QA activities like defect triage and metrics reporting.

• Develop, execute, and troubleshoot automated test scenarios across mobile, REST, and WebSocket APIs.

• Contribute to the creation of robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Assist in the establishment and upkeep of CI/CD environments and continuous process enhancement initiatives.

• Identify enhancements in test and development processes; explore and prototype emerging AI tools (LLM agents, embedding-based search, RAG pipelines) to address QA-specific requirements.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and serve as a technical reference within the team on best practices for automation and AI-assisted testing.

• Uphold high quality standards in a complex and ever-evolving work environment.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Five years or more of experience in mobile testing and automated test techniques, with a strong emphasis on quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Proficiency in REST and WebSocket API automation testing using Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience with frameworks like Pytest, Pytest-bdd, Appium, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, among others.

• Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming with robust coding and debugging skills.

• Strong design and development skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• Good comprehension of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading concepts.

• Demonstrated ability to convert functional requirements and use cases into effective test plans and test cases.

• Working familiarity with Continuous Integration practices involving Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

• Skill in adhering to coding standards and active participation in code reviews.

• Proficient in English communication to collaborate effectively in a globalized work environment.

Preferred Qualifications - AI/LLM Experience (Exposure or hands-on experience encouraged, deep specialization not mandatory):

• Practical exposure to integrating diverse LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) into engineering workflows or testing tools.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering and structured output parsing tools (e.g., Pydantic, Instructor), including basic self-correction/retry mechanisms for stable LLM outputs.

• Exposure to RAG pipelines and embedding-based retrieval, including utilizing similarity metrics for test case deduplication or recall.

• Familiarity with at least one vector database (e.g., Milvus, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate).

• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Copilot) and a penchant for leveraging them to enhance delivery efficiency.

• Basic understanding of AI Agent concepts - ReAct, Memory, Tool Calling - and any experience in designing or maintaining agent-based systems is a plus.

• Awareness of next-generation agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, multi-agent orchestration, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw) is a bonus.
